Decas Cranberry Products, Inc. (DCP) has introduced USDA National Organic Program (NOP) and European Union (EU) certified organic omega 3-fortified sweetened dried cranberries (SDCs). These SDCs are enhanced with OmegaCran cranberry seed oil, and provide approximately 240 mg of omega 3 fatty acids per 1/3 cup serving. OmegaCran, a source of antioxidants and vitamin E, contains high levels of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. Applications for the product include, but are not limited to, healthy snacks, cereals, yogurt, muffins, salads, cookies, pancakes, breads and desserts.
